Hydra-Arc's Project Division Soars to Even Newer Heights with our new Heavy Engineering Vessel fabrication Workshop

As part of Hydra Arc's quest for continuous improvement and business excellence, our projects division is expanding its capacity with the construction of its new Heavy Engineering Workshop.

Hydra Arc recently procured the ISO 3834 accreditation for new pressure vessel fabrication in addition to the ISO 9001 QMS system. The new workshop of 2600m2 will be in full operation by the end of November 2009. The workshop is equipped with amongst others the following: :

A Post Weld Heat treatment oven with a capacity of 540m3
2 x 45t Overhead Cranes
2 x 100t Overhead Cranes (awaiting design)
1 x 16mm Guillotine
1 x 32mm Guillotine
1 x 60mm Plate roller
1 x 100mm Plate roller
1 x 1000t break press (8 meter bed)
